MIA

I have gotten several phone calls from family & a few friends (who apparently don't understand the concept of the comment section...hehehe....) about my lack of updates. It's been a rough 6 weeks or so, and I've hardly been online. I need to spend some time catching up my email, blogs that I read, this one that I pretend to write, etc.

Starting with my post last month about the flu...while flu is fun in itself, it's even more fun when it progresses to a secondary infection that lasts for another couple of weeks. It's even more fun when you have an allergic reaction to some of the meds you happen to be taking for one affliction or the other. And it's even more fun when that reaction turns to a blistering, disgusting, itchy, painful rash from head to toe. And it's even more fun when you spend two separate occasions in the hospital for treatment of said rash and adjustment of said medications, only to still have the original problems for which you're being treated, still have an out of control rash, finish an entire course of steroids only to find that you need to do another 20 day course....and that as I'm sitting here typing this, I'm still a blistery, itchy, scratchy, bloody mess! I have a follow-up this afternoon and can only hope that we'll start making some progress. I hope. So please bear with me during this MIA stint. I've taken lots of pictures to help me remember the events of the weeks and to catch up as soon as I'm feeling up to it.

Loser With a Capital "L"

Am I seriously that big of a loser? I always think of all kinds of things that I'm "going" to blog about. With this big a family, there's never a lack of material!

I have some pictures that I've taken to do a week (ahem...or more it seems) in review of our crazy household events. Until then, please don't make "loser" signs at me as you pass by...
