Anyone that knows Logan knows that he's, well, smitten, with his Papa. Life for him revolves around his Papa. And Papa is a police officer. Papa doesn't drive police cars; he drives Papa Cars. He collects Papa cars. All police cars anywhere on the road, regardless of color, shape, or size, are Papa cars.
For some reason that we may never know (I mean, who really knows how the mind of a 2-year-old works?), Logan got it into his head that SpongeBob was going to work with Papa. I explained that Papa was already AT work, and SpongeBob was staying home with us. No, that wasn't good enough, and SpongeBob needed to get ready to go to work in Papa's Papa car.
So I called Papa, and asked him if he could think of anything that would have confused him so, but nobody could think of anything. Papa talked to him and told him that SpongeBob wasn't coming in tonight, that he was staying here to sleep with Logan. However, Logan is also a HUGE talker! Even after talking to Papa, all he could talk about was his concern that SpongeBob was still here and Papa had not picked him up.
Being that I really wanted to get him into bed so that I could start my laundry and such for the night, I used my 2-year-old reasoning skills to get SpongeBob ready in the event that Papa might have the time to come get him. Of course, WE all know that can't happen, but it was good enough for Logan, and I didn't have to fight to get him to bed!
Officer SquarePants, waiting for duty!
Or perhaps, his duty is watching over Logan!
Whichever the case, he seems pretty happy doing it!
We'll see if these "accessories" become a permanent part of SpongeBob's wardrobe!
Too! Funny!
